20 years of serving the Fremantle community. In 2002, SIF founder, Gary “Springa” Ingraham created a gym community where inclusion and comradery were at the core of the business; a place where people could come to achieve health and fitness goals that are meaningful to them, in their own time. 

 

At SIF we support you achieving your ultimate expression of health and fitness; while being part of a close knit community. This is what sets us apart: you’re part of the gym family, for life.

 

Our approach supports skill development (boxing, weights, conditioning) and a progression mentality to keep clients challenged, motivated and excited about working out.

Explain what you do and why you’re in the industry?

I have a Cert 3 & 4, Cert 3 in Sport and Recreation & Level 3 AFL coach. I focus on most aspects of training and specialise in mindset and leadership skills. I have always been in the industry to help people live a healthier and balanced lifestyle. 

What type of training do you enjoy the most?

Hypertrophy and strength training, also enjoy Hiit training and getting the heart rate up

My Nonna's lasagne

Explain what you do and why you’re in the industry?

I’m an Accredited Exercise Physiologist specialising in women’s health. I’ve always had a love for exercise and sport and I want to help people move better and feel better (especially women), and there’s no doubt that exercise is a key element.

 

What type of training do you enjoy the most?

Weight training – love feeling strong

 

Favourite food?

Chocolate. Just ask Adrian – I have a chocolate face. Besides that – Mexican food

 

What’s your spirit animal?

Wolf – loyal, caring, playful, devoted to family

Explain what you do and why you’re in the industry?

I am Exercise Sports Scientist (Notre Dame Class of 2020) who specialises in strength and conditioning. I love this industry, as health and fitness is a very strong passion of mine. This in turn helps me help others.

 

What is your favourite exercise?

Dumbbell Lateral Raise with a partial rep drop set. The most amazing shoulder pump you will ever get!

 

What’s your go-to cheat meal?

Varsity, whatever is on their menu. Usually a Texan burger

 

If you could have a meeting with 1 famous person, who would it be and why?

Dua Lipa for a date, duh.

What’s your spirit animal?

Great white shark, most misunderstood animal on the planet. But also as alpha as they come.

Explain what you do and why you’re in the industry?

I am an Exercise Scientist and Strength and Conditioning coach working mainly on body composition and in disability training. I think exercise can be daunting and complicated but that comes from a lack of direction and education, so I aim to guide people to take control of their fitness!

 

What is your favourite exercise?

Bench Press. The first exercise I learned and one I have never got sick of.

 

If you could have a meeting with 1 famous person, who would it be and why?

Johnny Cash. A fascinating man!

 

What’s your spirit animal?

Bears. Big and scary (not really) but most of the year I cant be bothered doing anything.

Favourite place you’ve travelled to?

Banff, Alberta. Place looks straight out of a movie.

Explain what you do and why you’re in the industry?

I love helping people be the healthiest, best version of themselves. As someone who loves running, (and all forms of cardio), I am passionate about helping people get stronger so that they can either continue to or start running.

 

What is your favourite exercise?

I love running by the ocean and then jumping in the ocean for a swim after a run

 

What’s your hidden talent?

I can guess a song after hearing a note or two
